Brazilian
Sampler - 2644
This is a little 4" sampler is designed for the beginner to learn
most of the Brazilian embroidery basics. It includes a hoop/frame,
needles, design printed on linen-like fabric and all threads needed
to complete the design. Complete instructions for all the basic
stitches and for the design are included. Choose from cool (top) or
warm (bottom) colors.

Poinsettia Ball - 2645
An intermediate/advanced Brazilian embroidery Christmas ornament
that covers a 3" Styrofoam ball. The four poinsettias are stitched
using a twisted double cast-on stitch. Centers are beads with
colonial knots in the centers. Plaid fabric, pattern, instructions,
beads and ribbon are included. Threads and Styrofoam ball are
needed.

Hibiscus - 2647
Hibiscus - those stunning tropical flowers with the showy
stamens! Have fun creating them in stumpwork with a unique beaded
drizzle stamen. The leaves are worked in stacked stem and the
petals are filled with double running stitch on dyed silk fabric
with wired edges. The background fabric is raw silk. The design fits a 5" x
7" frame or mat. The design printed on raw silk, dyed fused silk
for petals, wire, and beads are included. Threads are not
included.

Heart and Flowers - 2648
This floral heart is worked on 25 count even-weave linen fabric.
First the background texture is created using two pulled thread
stitches. Then the heart vine and Brazilian embroidery flowers are
added. The design fits a 5" x 7" mat or frame. The design printed
on 25 count linen, lining fabric, instructions, and a variety of
pink beads are included.

Be My Valentine - 2649
This needlelace heart design is somewhat based on the style of
Gros Point de Venice which is distinguished by its heavily padded
and decorated buttonholed edges on shapes. The pattern is 5" wide
and intended to be worked with #50 crochet cotton. #20 crochet
cotton is also needed for outlines and padding. Instructions are
included for the 5 needlelace stitches used and the decorative
edgings.

Temari - 2650
Temari is a traditional Japanese art form of wrapping and
embroidering balls. Instructions for creating the basic ball on a
Styrofoam ball base and embroidering it with the traditional
Chrysanthemum design are included. Brief instructions for
